Terms of service

These terms apply to consumer purchases made in the Seemen UB online store and delivered within Norway. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights under Norwegian consumer legislation.

The seller is Seemen UB (SEEMEN UNGDOMSBEDRIFT), organisation number 936 587 224. Our business address is Kongshavn videregående skole, Kongsveien 30, 0193 Oslo, Norway. You can contact us at seemenub2@gmail.com or +47 938 17 112.

All prices are shown in Norwegian kroner (NOK). Seemen UB is not registered for VAT, and VAT is therefore not added to our prices. Any shipping costs and other mandatory charges are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Payment is made through Shopify Checkout using available payment methods, which may include Visa, Mastercard, Vipps, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is handled by secure payment providers. We do not store your full card details. If a refund is approved, it is processed back to the original payment method. If you paid with Vipps, the refund is processed as a refund of the original Vipps payment.

A purchase agreement is formed when you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation from us. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will contact you, cancel the order, and issue a full refund for any amount paid.

We ship within Norway using Posten or Bring (or another carrier stated at checkout). Estimated delivery times may vary by location and carrier capacity and are estimates unless a fixed delivery date has been expressly agreed. The risk for the goods transfers to you when you (or someone you appoint other than the carrier) have received the goods.

If a product is sold as a pre-order, it is not yet in stock at the time of purchase. In that case, dispatch will take place on, or within, the estimated dispatch window stated on the product page or at checkout. If delivery is delayed beyond what has been agreed, you have statutory remedies under Norwegian consumer law.

You have a legal right of withdrawal (angrerett) for 14 days from the day after you receive the item. To use your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the withdrawal period with a clear written message that you want to withdraw from the purchase. You do not need to give a reason. Email is sufficient, and you should include your order number.

After you notify us of withdrawal, you must return the item without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you sent the withdrawal notice. You are responsible for the item until it is received by us, so we recommend using a tracked shipment. Returns should be sent to: Seemen UB, Kongsveien 30, 0193 Oslo, Norway, and you should include your order number in the package or in a note.

You may inspect the item to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a physical store. If the item has been used or handled more than necessary for such inspection, you may be responsible for any reduction in value. For hygiene reasons, underwear should be returned unused, clean and in resellable condition, and with original packaging when possible. If an item is delivered with a hygiene seal or other tamper-evident seal and this seal is broken after delivery, the statutory right of withdrawal may be limited for that item to the extent permitted by mandatory Norwegian law.

Unless we have agreed otherwise, you pay the direct cost of return shipping when withdrawing from a purchase. If we have delivered the wrong item or the item is faulty/defective, we will cover the return shipping cost and arrange a suitable solution with you.

When you withdraw from a purchase, we will refund what you paid for the item. We will also refund the original standard delivery cost you paid to us for that order. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than standard, we refund the standard delivery cost only. We refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice, but we may wait to refund until we have received the returned item or you have provided documentation that it has been sent back. Refunds are made to the same payment method used at checkout unless you expressly agree otherwise.

If the product is defective or we have delivered the wrong item, you have the right to complain (reklamasjon) under Norwegian consumer law. You should contact us as soon as possible after you discover the issue, and within a reasonable time. As a consumer, the complaint period is normally two years from delivery. If your complaint is valid, you may be entitled to remedies such as repair, replacement, price reduction or cancellation, depending on the circumstances.

We process personal data to handle orders, payments, delivery, customer service, complaints, and returns. Information about how we process personal data and your rights is described in our Privacy Policy.

If you have a complaint or dispute, contact us first and we will try to resolve it promptly. If we cannot resolve it, you may contact Forbrukerrådet for assistance and mediation. Norwegian law applies.
